About the Bays Drag Olympics
Rowcroft relies on fundraising events to ensure we can continue to provide our vital services, caring for those with terminal illnesses. However, when it comes to events we don’t want to take ourselves too seriously! We are appealing to your silly side, so why not be silly for a good cause?

The event
All Olympians must be in drag; no dress, no entry! Use your mum, partner or a famous female as your muse! Get digging through your wardrobe, then shopping at a hospice shop to get yourself looking lovely! (But please, for safety’s sake, no running in heels!)
This really will be a day out for all your friends and family, with plenty to keep you all entertained. Hundred’s of men in drag on Torre Abbey Meadows really will be a sight for sore eyes!
Thanks to our brilliant sponsors Bays Brewery, who will have a bar on site during the event, each drag will receive a free pint of beer!
Go to our FAQ’s for even more info.
How to enter!
Entry to this event is just £10 per person. But if you manage to gather a gaggle of ‘girls’ of 5 or more entry will be just £7.50 per person. All entries must be received by Friday 9th July 2010, giving you enough time to gather a frock, a wig and that all important lippy!
This entry fee covers the cost of putting on the event, so we do ask you to raise as much as possible from your friends and family, by asking them to sponsor you to run around dressed like your mum, nan, girlfriend, old dinner lady….. (don’t worry we will give you all the information you need to know about how to get the cash flowing in!)
Entry forms will be available from this website on 15th April 2010. Get the forms back to us as soon as possible along with the entry fees to ensure you and your mates are sure of a place; places are limited and will go quickly! Fill in your details in the red box opposite to receive news about the launch!
